Yer still killing it, and every picture STILL gets better than the last. Whose face is in the middle of the wheel? It looks kinda like MF Doom who is a very cool rapper. He takes his persona from the old FF cartoons. Just wondering.
The truth, alas, is stranger than fiction. Like, Claremont-levels stranger. The kind where I could tell you, but then you'd read it and wonder if I was actually typing in English or just mashing my face on the keyboard and using autocorrect to turn it into words.
Nope! The Bamfs have been around since the 80s. See, Kitty Pryde used to make up bedtime stories for Colossus' little sister, Ilyana, and they featured loads of adorable little Kurt look-alikes called Bamfs. There was an accident, Ilyana fell out of the universe for a little while (literally), and when she got back, she had aged into her teens, her mutant facility for magic and teleportation had woken up, and her subconscious had influenced the hell-dimension she had fallen into, bringing the Bamfs to life.
More recently, red bamfs started showing up in Wolverine's school for gifted youngsters mutant kids, and they were less cute-mischief and more kinda-evil. It turns out Kurt's maybe-father, an actual demon from hell, who looks like Kurt only red, fed these maggot-demons some of his blood so they'd look like him and have to obey him. Kurt, who was dead at the time, cut a different deal with them, turning the ones loyal to him blue and eventually winning the day and coincidentally bringing Kurt back to life (meaning his friends' rescue mission into heaven aboard what may have been a pirate ship from hell was successful), but at some unspecified cost that now has him worried.
Also, the misogyny radiating off of your comment there is troubling. You'll probably ignore this, but I'd urge you to think long and hard about why you're sneering at the idea of women being interested in comics.
I'm not a misogynist, lol. I'm a woman. Most people I know that like comics are guys. I've noticed that since the big superhero movies started in about 2000 with X-men, more girls have gotten interested in comics, or have decided to admit they like them. XD
